Low back pain, which is commonly known as “backache“, is a condition that affects the lumbar segment of the spine. It manifests with pain, which is often very intense, and limited movements.
The various phases of the condition require a rehabilitation project based on physiotherapy and postural re-education, on the use of orthotic devices, if required, and pharmacological therapy in the most serious situations.

Backache is often associated with wrong posture during the day or with unsuitable movements (e.g., lifting weights, being seated for too long…). Hence, the corset can be a useful device for pain management and support during daily activities.
