After spinal injury
After a spinal injury (whether involving bone or muscle), pharmacological therapy is often combined with conservative treatment with the corset, which is highly specific, depending on the intensity of the injury, its consequences and position (in the spine).
During post-traumatic progress (or even in the outcome of severe osteoporosis) the vertebrae have a tendency
to “collapse”, with subsequent sliding that defines a disease called spondylolisthesis. Once again, therapy with the hyperextension corset is a crucial part of patient management.
